WORK CLUB 2022 - (Manchester)

The Gaydio Academy Work Club is back for 2022 working with Manchester City Council, delivering radio and work skills training, peer support and mentoring to help jobless people from Greater Manchester find secure employment and/or training. This benefits from one-to-one support, work experience and volunteering opportunities.

Each round of training will involve 5 fun training sessions at our Manchester Academy HQ, with sessions either being throughout one week or one session a week for 5 weeks. Training will focus on:

Course Layout

1. Introduction to radio and how to become a radio presenter

2. Radio advert creation

3. CV skills workshop

4. Job search skills

5. A one-to-one session exploring next stage progression tailored to your specific needs

Participants will then be put forward for our work experience and volunteering programme at Gaydio.
